The Broken Seal is the inaugural release of PK, a brand new TCG with innovative, easily understood game
mechanics;
PK is the first game to comprehensively integrate its paper product with a fulfilled web community environment,
open to all players; and
PK Gold Keys, included with every purchase, may be redeemed at www.pkcards.com for PK gold points and act
as an entry into a 24‐7 gaming world.
SET SIZE AND PRODUCT OFFERINGS
The Broken Seal set contains 366 black bordered cards (100 common, 100 uncommon, 91 rare, 75 exotic) and an
additional 366 premium ‘holographic’ card sub‐set;
The Broken Seal is sold in booster packs and four core decks;
Core Decks contain a 75 card pre‐built deck based around two avatar cards, a five (5) card mini‐booster that
includes one premium holographic card, all rules necessary to play PK at tournament level, a synthetic game mat
and a poster depicting the deck’s two avatars and a Gold Key, redeemable at www.pkcards.com in a variety of
ways including for prizes; and
Booster Packs contain 10 random cards (distribution of rarities is printed on the pack: 7 common cards, 2
uncommon, 2/3 rare, 1/6 exotic and 1/6 holographic premium) as well as one Gold Key card.
MARKETING SUPPORT
Organized Play: demonstration tournaments are offered, as well as mats and layout material for sealed deck
play;
High Frequency Advertising: trade magazines such as Scrye, Beckett‐Pokemon and Toy Book, in addition to
other web related initiatives; and
Promotions: include sell sheets, point of purchase displays, posters and other point of sale material,
customized to individual retailer / distributor request.
