One thing we have heard from hobby shops is that it would be nice if a manufacturer could do a nation-wide wrapper redemption promotion like they do at trade shows. Upper Deck has come through and will be offering a very unique wrapper redemption program around 2012-13 NHL O-Pee-Chee which releases today that is exclusive to hobby product and exclusive to Canadian Certified Diamond Dealers. WHY YOU SHOULD PARTICIPATE

1. A program like this will ultimately help you sell more packs so the more you promote it, the more you will likely sell. This is one of the first NHL release of the 2012-13 season and it is targets a wide range of collectors, both young and old so it is the perfect product to run a promotion like this on.

2. This promotion is a great way to get collectors back in your shop when their packs come in. Once you receive the packs back, you can call your customers in to pick them up. Hopefully they will be pleased with what they receive and potentially purchase more product from you.

3. This is a hobby only promotion so now you have a program that is exclusive to your shop that collectors can�t get from a larger mass retailer.

4. This is a Canada only promotion so no U.S. retailers can participate. This is your promotion.

5. Upper Deck has put together some great prizes for collectors who put together the sets and will likely do follow up stories on them. Encourage your more ambitious collectors to go after the entire set as it will ultimately get more press for your shop if one of them wins!



HOW TO PARTICIPATE

1. You may want to keep a notebook of which customers are submitting wrappers along with their contact information so you can alert them when their packs come in.

2. Make sure customers are submitting hobby only wrappers. No retail wrappers will be accepted.

3. Please sort them in groups of fifty and include a letter with your shop name, address, phone number and amount of hobby wrappers of 2012-13 NHL O-Pee-Chee you included. Please print legibly.

How to Let Your Customers Know About the Promotion
