On behalf of the Panini Trading Cards, I am pleased inform you that 26-year-old Thorn Hill, Ontario collector Joel Silverman has been selected as the Grand Prize Winner in the 2010-11 Panini NHL Player of the Day National Sweepstakes. Joel entered the Panini NHL Player of the Day contest at 401 Games, Toys and Sportscards in Toronto. The shop owner John Park has been alerted.



According to the shop�s registration, they indicated both Grosnor and Universal as their distributors.



We will be posting a story about this and photos on the Panini blog shortly.



As the Grand Prize Winner, Joel will �spend a day� on Sunday, July 17, 2011 with Toronto Maple Leafs rookie Nazem Kadri. This will include a private party with Kadri at his home followed by a FREE 60-minute autograph session at the hobby shop.



For the free autographs signing session, Panini will provide 200 exclusive 5�x7� NHLPOD collectible photographs of Kadri. This is the only item he will sign at the event. Joe will also be rewarded with a $250 (US) shopping spree for Panini licensed products at the shop.



The tentative schedule for Sunday, July 17, 2011 is as follows:



12:30-1:30 p.m. � Nazem Kadri arrives for a private meet and greet at the home of Joel Silverman in Thorn Hill. He will sign autographs for the guests, pose for photos, talk hockey, or any other similar activity. Media, including local newspapers and television, will also be invited to attend the party. Joe will invite up to 20 friends and family members to the party.



1:30 p.m. � Joel and several friends will ride with Nazem Kadri in a limousine to 401 Games, Toys and Sportscards.



2:00-3:00 p.m. � Nazem Kadri conducts a FREE 60-minute autograph session at 401 Games, Toys and Sportscards. Up to 200 customers will be guaranteed to receive one free autographed photographed provided by Panini. Panini will supply the shop with 200 exclusive photographs and these will be the only item Kadri will sign at the event.
