Building on the success of its Series One counterpart, Upper Deck�s 2009 Series Two Baseball debuted this week with more loaded content than ever before. Each hobby box will include two memorabilia cards and one autograph card. Some boxes will also include a 20th Anniversary box-topper that will include an additional memorabilia or autograph card from the last 20 years� worth of Upper Deck Baseball releases. Additionally, the trading card leader purchased back several 1989 Upper Deck Baseball factory sets, had each card stamped with a special 20th Anniversary logo and they were then inserted into 2009 Upper Deck Series Two Baseball. These special cards will fall one per box, on average.

Upper Deck is helping fans get closer to the next generation of baseball stars through a partnership with USA Baseball. Collectors will be able to find memorabilia and autograph cards of players from the USA Baseball team including the flame-throwing phenom from San Diego State. There is also an autograph card from another young prospect in the set that will be sure to create a lot of excitement as well. Upper Deck bought back 93 Derek Jeter rookie cards and had the Yankees Captain sign all of them. These special cards are randomly inserted into 2009 Upper Deck Series Two and are sure to bring a smile to the face of any collector lucky enough to pull one of them.

While 2009 Upper Deck Series Two Baseball provides collectors with new rookies and updated photography of players in new uniforms, collectors can also find retrospective cards on sports, politics, world history, pop culture and technology over the last 20 years since Upper Deck came on the scene. Collectors can find eight 20th Anniversary Retrospective insert cards per box and one 20th Anniversary Retrospective memorabilia card per case.

Even the empty packs are collectible as codes are printed inside them that can be used as currency for Upper Deck�s online virtual world for kids, Upper Deck U. Kids can enter those codes online at www.upperdecku.com to enhance their overall experience in the world.
