PROMOTION INTRODUCTION

Welcome to the �Big League Blast�. The Major League Baseball Players Association has partnered with Topps and Upper Deck to offer hobby shops an exciting baseball card promotion that was created to increase your store traffic and 2009 Topps & Upper Deck baseball card sales by offering your customers a chance to win some great baseball prizes.

HOW IN STORE EVENTS WORK

Starting May 15, 2009, we will kick-off the first of three prize periods. During each period consumers will receive prize tickets for their 2009 Topps and Upper Deck baseball card purchases.

Prize Tickets are awarded based on the purchase of 2009 Topps and Upper Deck baseball cards according to the following table:

Pack Purchases: 1 Ticket
Box Purchase: 3 Tickets
Featured Box Purchase: 5 Tickets

At the conclusion of each prize period, participating shops will host a prize drawing. Winners must be present to collect their prize.

PRIZES

Every participating store will receive, free courtesy of the MLBPA, the following prizes:
1. Majestic baseball jerseys (1 to be given away per prize period, 3 total)
2. Autographed 8"x10" photographs (1 to be given away per prize period, 3 total)
3. Topps "Big Stixx" moveable sticker packs (1 to be given away per prize period, 3 total)
4. McFarlane Sports Picks figures (1 to be given away per prize period, 3 total)
5. Wincraft pennants (1 to be given away per prize period, 3 total)
6. Die-Cast Promotions 1/64-scale tractor-trailers (1 to be given away per prize period, 3 total)

IN STORE EVENTS
1st Prize Drawing: June 13
2nd Prize Drawing: July 18
3rd Prize Drawing: August 15

PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENTS

Participating shops must purchase ALL of the featured products (featured products receive extra prize tickets). The featured boxes:

Period 1 (May 15-June 13)
2009 Bowman Baseball
2009 Goudey Baseball

Period 2 (June 14-July 18)
2009 Topps Series II Baseball
2009 Upper Deck Series II Baseball

Period 3 (July 19-August 15)
2009 Allen & Ginter Baseball
2009 O-Pee-Chee Baseball

The featured products must be purchased directly from Topps or Upper Deck, or through a manufacturer-approved distributor.

Participating stores must furnish the names and addresses of all winners of the 3 baseball jerseys and the 3 autographed photographs awarded at each of the 3 scheduled in-store events to the MLBPA at the address below by August 31, 2009.

The Big League Blast is limited to the first 250 stores that return a completed form. Preference will be given to participating Baseball Card Clubhouse shops.

You will be notified by May 1, 2009 if your store has been selected to participate in the promotion. Materials for the promotion cannot be displayed prior to May 15, 2009. Stores must agree to abide by the sweepstakes rules, display promotion materials provided, hold drawings on scheduled event dates and contact and award prizes to winners.
