Ecos: First Continent is in stores this month and is one of the most anticipated releases at Essen Spiel. Ecos is by designer John D Clair (Mystic Vale, Space Base, Edge of Darkness). In Ecos: First Continent, players are forces of nature molding the planet, but with competing visions of its grandeur. You have the chance to create a part of the world, similar but different to the one we know. Which landscapes, habitats, and species thrive will be up to you.
Gameplay in Ecos is simultaneous. Each round, one player reveals element tokens from the element bag, giving all players the opportunity to complete a card from their tableau and shape the continent to their own purpose. Elements that cannot be used can be converted into energy cubes, additional cards in hand, or to add cards already in hand to your tableau, giving you greater options as the game evolves.
Grassland, deserts, and bodies of water, each with their own fauna, all lie within the scope of the players' options.

Royal Decree cards have unique abilities that each player can use once per game. At the start of the game, three are dealt out, and those are the only three available for that game. How and when to use these powerful abilities can determine victory or defeat!
February 2020 brings two exciting expansions to hit AEG series.
Tiny Towns: Fortune adds many new cards to the fun city-building of Tiny Towns, as well as the new "coin" mechanic where players can build their fortunes or spend them to further the growth of their towns!
The Nemesis expansion for Mystic Vale adds new advancement and vale cards to the base Mystic Vale game, giving players more card crafting options and exciting new possibilities for combos. Leader cards in the form of titans grant abilities that can be upgraded to become even more powerful!
Curse tokens offer players a quicker path to power, but with a price at the end of the game. Nemesis cards introduce an exciting new variant for a solitaire game!
