Marvel�s most iconic heroes and villains come to life in the Marvel Edition of Codenames! Codenames, the hit social word game, has been designed with fan favorite characters and items from Guardians of the Galaxy, The Avengers, Doctor Strange and Spider-Man, and more! In the Marvel Edition of Codenames, it�s the S.H.I.E.L.D. team versus the HYDRA team in a battle to see who can identify their team�s Asset Cards first.

A Key Card, visible only to each team�s Director, corresponds to the 25 card grid showing which images belong to their team. It�s up to the Directors to give clever but well thought out clues to their team�s �Agents� by saying just a single word followed by a number of cards associated with the clue. Agents must be careful not to decipher a code incorrectly because a wrong guess could belong to the opposing team! Also hidden in the grid is an Assassin card. If an Agent picks that card its game over and the other team wins!

With 200 cards included, new Marvel characters and items are introduced each game, so no two games are ever the same. Two-sided Asset Cards allow you to choose between words or images for more challenging game play.
