IDW Games and Pandasaurus Games are bringing The Game: Are You Ready To Play? to North America! Nominated for the prestigious Spiel Des Jahres award, The Game, is a co-operative card game for one to five players. The Game joins Machi Koro as one of only three titles nominated for this prestigious "Game of the Year" award that includes past winners like Catan, Hanabi, and Dominion.

�If you heard of The Game through its Spiel Des Jahres nomination, you probably cocked your head at the name,� said Molly Wardlaw of Pandasaurus Games. �But when you play, you'll see that this is cooperation, jeering and cheering, heart-racing fun�all the best qualities of a good game distilled to perfection.�

The Game is for one to five players, and is playable in roughly 20 minutes. The goal is to play as long as you can, by continually playing cards to one of four different piles, cards must be discarded according to various rules that can be manipulated by clever play. Table talk is allowed, but players are never allowed to exactly reveal what they have in their hand, so there�s a constant tension, as with each turn you hope your play fits in with the strategy of your teammates. Quick thinking and spitfire cooperation will make or break turns as grimaces and cheers abound, making for a perfect nail-biting good time for all.
